PSA Project Requirements


Goal:

To create a multi-media video that illustrates a story or serves as a public service announcement.

Requirements:

  1. Define: Public Service Announcement.
  2. View, analyze, and evaluate PSA examples.
  3. Create an outline for a PSA or video story.
  4. Create a storyboard for your PSA or video story. See attached.
  5. Take at least 25 photos for your PSA or video story. Photos must be your original photos!!! Edit your photos in a way that is appropriate for your video. You may need more photos depending on your subject.
  6. Create your PSA or video story using iMovie. It must be/include:
    • 2-3 minutes long
    • Original photographs taken by you
    • title and credits
    • text
    • Creative Commons Music/meet Copyright Laws
    • video effects and transitions
    • Optional: Include video clips.
  7. Write an explanation, describing
    • The purpose of your PSA or video story.
    • The reason why you chose this topic.
    • What you learned through creating this PSA.
    • What you like about your PSA.
